It has been a few months since my brother decided to relocate to the big city of Leeds, and we finally decided to pay him a visit yesterday!
I have never really done one of these Hannah Gale style, kind of catch up posts. I normally keep everything quite edited and sleek nowadays, but I thought sometimes it is nice to have a little catch up with you guys, and I also keep this blog for me too, so why not document my lovely little day out. I live about an hour away from my brothers new place, and it was a surprisingly nice journey. I didn't drive, obviously, but my step mum did and it was a really nice drive. We only got slightly lost once, which a great success. My brother has moved to a really nice area, where the houses look like they are worth a fortune, but the people will be really friendly. I don't really know where I am going with this, but it was nice anyway.
We had a tour round his flat, which again was lovely. Followed by a cuppa, and a much needed catch up.
Then we headed into town for my first ever Wagamamas! I had a pad thai, whilst the others opted for katsu curry and a big bowl of rice and meat and yummy stuff (I don't know what it was called). Nick also ordered a few sides, and it was delicious. Can safely say I will be returning to Wagamamas very soon, it is easily one of my favourite kinds of food! Although I am hopeless with chopsticks, does anyone have any tips? I am eager to try again.
After we had filled ourselves up, we headed into a few shops.
I fell in love with a pair of Ralph Lauren sunglasses, that I had to leave in the shop due to the unfortunate price tag. I also found an Oliver Bonas shop where naturally, I wanted everything. The card holder is definitely on my list of things I must have soon. Any colour will do...
And then finally we headed into TK Maxx, where I picked up a few bits and pieces including a gorgeous notebook and some nail polishes. All ready for a pamper session now.
I had such a lovely visit overall, although Leeds weather was a bit crappy and I managed to drop and smash my phone - good one Harrie.. But it was a great day. I really love Leeds as a city and each time I visit I am reminded that I really should visit more.
So there you are guys, there is what I got up to this weekend...
