My least favourite thing about doing a favourites post is the introduction. They are always so pants. I usually give you all an update on the weather, which is probably really dull.
So, lets recap on May. I finally finished my first year at uni on the 9th with an exam. I haven't had my results yet but heres hoping it went well! Me and Matthew went out for a lovely meal to celebrate. Other things that have happened are that I went to Chester, you can read all about that here. I also had my first driving lesson and visited my big brother in Leeds. Again read about that here.
Now we are all caught up, on to the favourites.
Me and Matthew have been trawling our way through the entire X-Men series before the new one is released. I think it is released now but I am not sure, but anyway we started from the top. I had to include them in my favourites because I never in a million years thought it would be my kind of film. Sure I loved Deadpool, but that's different.
Anyway, I did love them. And now I kinda want to be a mutant...
My favourite picture this month has to be this beauty of me and Matthew. It was before our celebratory meal, and it just makes me laugh. Pretty much sums up our relationship.
I kind of feel like a cheat but this month my favourite product has been this lipstick, which is part of the Rosie Huntington Whitely collection for Autograph. I am not going to talk about it too much because I have already done a full blog post on it, which you can read here.
FYI, it is the lipstick I am wearing on the photo of me and Matthew.
My favourite clothing item this month is this cold shoulder top from New Look. I love it so much that I now have it in two colours, and could easily have more. It is such a lovely shape and fit. It is floaty enough to make me feel like you can't see any lumps and bumps you're not meant to see, and the neckline paired with the cold shoulder gives it more of a dressy, sexy look. Seriously love this top, and can see myself wearing it loads this summer.
Me and Matthew decided to make pizza. From scratch. Neither of us are very good bakers, and our cooking skills are okay but not the best. But we thought we would give it a go anyway and it turned out pretty well. In fact, it was delicious.
My toppings included caramelised onion, goats cheese and parma ham. Fancy, ey?
My favourite activity, or more of an accomplishment really, was completing my first year at uni. It really was not easy, in fact it was 100 times harder than I ever imagined. I nearly dropped out a few times, but I managed it. I finished it. Only a few more years to go! Ha.
