Why I am Loving Snapchat // Harrie Uses

SnapchatI have had snapchat for about two and a half years, and it has taken till now to fall in love with it the way I now have.

I think we now live in this word of the edit. Instagram is a perfect example, I mean when I started using Instgram I literally just documented my life and took the odd selfie. But now instagram has become this place where everyone is obsessed with the 'perfect' photo. It is edited.

I love it. But it is fake. But I guess that's why I like it.

Snapchat, however, doesn't let you do that.

With this app, it literally shows peoples day as they are. I love how it is like being a part of someones day. Like you are there with them and they are just showing you what they are up to, what they are seeing and what they are eating.

Another thing I love about it is the fact it is a little bit fun. People post things that I don't think they would post anywhere else, but they know it will be gone in 24 hours, so it doesn't really matter. It is like the judgement of other social platforms doesn't really apply to snapchat, and anything goes.

Finally, I love the filters. I check every single day what the new ones are, and I just find figuring them out so much fun. I mean what isn't fun about being a koala or making your head explode? I can't think of anything.

Since I am doing a massive declaration of love for the app, I thought I would also share a few of my favourites. I think they are probably quite standard though.

Oh, and don't forget to follow me. I am called harrieeharb - harrie with two ee's. Why I ever did that, I do not know.

Anyway, other people I think you should follow too.

Lilypebbles - she vlogs everyday and is just really fun. Just like watching one of her videos. misskatyenglish - from the blog Little Miss Katy. Really lovely, really fun, really chatty. tanyaburr - just because I like to admire her make up, and I like to see how the other half live.
