Harrie Travels: What I Pack for a Weekend Away

DSC00078We are off to Bruges! For lots of lovely walks, and even more chocolate tasting. I am so excited! (Hense all the exclamation marks). Be prepared for a few Bruges related posts coming your way...

So to start off my little Harrie Travels series, I thought I would do a what is in my bag post. This is the first time I have ever left the country without having a proper luggage allowance. We decided to go hand luggage only, which makes total sense because we are only going for a few days, but still it is very scary. I am not a light packer, and I have really struggled to get my bag down to only the essentials.

Lets start techy..

Obviously I am going to be taking my iPhone and iPhone charger. Then I am taking my Sony a5000 to capture all of Bruges. P.s a review of the camera will be coming soon. The only other techy thing I will be taking are my straighteners, for obvious reasons. DSC00073 On to the essentials

I am taking my passport, my boarding passes, all the information for the holiday. I am also taking euros and sterling. DSC00075 Clothes wise I am going to be travelling in my jeans, a big jumper, boots, coat and scarf so that I can limit the amount of space taken up. This means that in my actual bag there will be a couple more jumpers, probably of the high neck variety. I am also taking my a couple of dresses and tights. And finally, of course pyjamas and underwear.

You probably know what make up I am taking from Wednesday's post but.. DSC00080 Cosmetics wise I have really had issues because I knew I would only be able to take what I absolutely needed. So, for my base I am taking my No.7 Beautifully Matte foundation, Maybelline Fit Me concealer, Soap and Glory Solar Powder, No.7 Matte Blush, Real Techniques buffing brush and finally Real Techniques Miracle Complexion sponge.

Then I am taking my Urban Decay Basics 2 as it covers all options, and with it I am taking the MAC 207 brush. Also for the eyes I will be taking a Bourjois brow pencil, Rimmel liquid liner and Soap and Glory Thick and Fast Mascara.

Then for lips I am taking a few options because you can never be sure what mood you will be in. These include....

What do you take on a weekend away?
