I have actually done a review of Site, but you know. No one can ever have enough pizza, right? But the main reason I wanted to do another review post is because I got a better camera, and I got a little bit more confident asking to take photos and I wanted to do the place a little bit more justice. Plus, I bloody love a good pizza and I just want to tell the world that little fact.
We went on a Sunday night but just because it was a work night, it didn't stop us ordering a cocktail (or two in my case). We both had Pomegranate Daiquiri which was lovely. It was just really easy to drink and yummy. I think I could have drank it none-stop, but I did just stop at two I promise! We ordered the meat sharing antipasti, which was lovely. It was just the perfect amount for two of us, although I do think it could also be shared between three if you're not really hungry, like we were. The peppers were absolutely beautiful but I couldn't tell you why. It was just a party in my mouth. The ham and bread was lovely too. And OH EM GEE the jam was just something else. It tasted sweet and spicy and like jam but not like jam. I don't even know.
For my main, I thought I would try something I have never had before. I had this pizza, and on it is brie, caramelised onion and potato. Yes, potato on a pizza. I was sceptical too, but it actually kind of works. It tasted amazing but I just don't know if I am ready for the world to have potato on a pizza. I'm just not metropolitan enough yet. However, if you are ready for the world to have potato on pizza then I would definitely recommend it! Everything is cooked in a stone oven and made to order. The oven makes the whole restaurant feel so cosy and warm. I really want a stone oven at home, is that unnecessary?
That's the end of this review! Go check out Site Pizzeria, I can't recommend it more. And order a cocktail too.
