Favourite Beauty Items // Harrie Catches Up

Favourite Beauty ItemsI thought that this month instead of doing a what is on my face, I would just do a nice little round up of the products I am really into at the moment.

You see, doing monthly face update posts is all good and well if you change up your routine a lot. I don't really, I tend to stick with what I know on a whole and maybe add one or two new things in every few weeks. So I thought it would be better to do a post just summing up the stuff that I really, really like at the moment.

Firstly, I am going to start with a brush. I am pretty same old when it comes to brushes because these are the things that I know very little about. I have been using a Real Techniques buffing brush for ages and never really had a problem. But I fancied a change, so I picked up the Expert Face brush instead, and so far I have been loving it.

It is quite a lot smaller than the buffing brush, and a lot more dense I would say. I like the face it can get into all the nooks in my face, like around my nose and eyes. It also gives a really nice coverage, more than the buffing brush. Plus, I think it gives a slightly more flawless affect. Expert Face Brush Estee Lauder Lipstick

I mentioned a few weeks ago in this haul post that I picked up this Estee Lauder lipstick in the shade... and I have been wearing it every day since. It is just so creamy and moisturising, and the shade just works as the perfect everyday colour. It looks like you're wearing something, but you've not tried too hard. It is just so pretty! Supercat Liner I wear liquid liner every single day but a winged line has never been my forte. I wish it was, and I am always so envious of those insta girls with the perfect flick. However, I have found myself experimenting more since I worked out the Soap and Glory Supercat Liner. I mentioned this in a disappointing products video because it smudged everywhere, but I persevered with it and now I am obsessed. It does smudge slightly, but better skincare has meant that my lids are less oily and with a little eye shadow, I have no real issues. The nib on this is the perfect thickness for practising a winged line, and I think I finally might be making moves on this skill.

I couldn't do a beauty products round up post without including this nail polish. I am obsessed and it hasn't left my toe nails since I picked it up. It is the perfect summery colour without being too bright and in your face. I love it and even quite like looking at my feet whilst it is on. Essie Saltwater Happy Modern Muse PerfumeFinally, my last favourite of the moment isn't something I have been using on my face. It is a perfume, and unfortunately it is a sample size. I was gifted a sample of the Modern Muse scent when I did some damage at the Estee Lauder counter, and I have had a little spray almost every day since. Each time I wear it I can't help but get the feeling that I absolutely need the full size. It is so beautiful and the smell really lasts all day. If only I could speed time up so I can pop it on my birthday list...
