How come when one product runs out, they all do?
It's that time again where I have a hoard of finished products, so I thought I would talk you through a few of them. I mean, surely the best kind of review comes when you have completely finished the product. And some of these products, I have literally scraped every last bit. They are done.
Let's start bathroom..
It really upsets me to say that I have finished my cleanser. This is the best skincare product I have ever tried, hands down. I would be lost without it and am going to repurchase immediately. It gets off every last bit of make up, without leaving my skin dry. In fact, it does what it says on the tin. It makes my skin look bright! And I have barely broken out whilst using this, bonus.
The next thing I have finished, or we should I say as Matthew has been using it too. Is the Aquafresh Intense Clean* toothpaste. Now I know, this isn't really a beauty product, but I thought I would throw it in there anyway. It is the strongest tasting toothpaste I have ever tried, the minty fresh feeling sticks around with this guy. And it does make your teeth feel clean for a long time. Again, it does what it says on the tin.
Finally for my bathroom bits, is the Soap and Glory "Clean on me" shower cream. Again, me and Matthew have both been using this. And I like it, but not as much as some of the other Soap and Glory shower products. I much prefer the citrus scents and something more exfoliating. But this is really subtle and creamy. I think its all personal preference though...
Now the face...
I just have a couple of products in this section.
Firstly, I have finished my Lancome Hydra Zen moisturiser. This is a really thick cream and definitely hydrates the skin. I have been using this kind of mainly on dry spots round my face, round the edges of my nose and my forehead. Then I rub it all round my face. I have to say, I slightly prefer the Estee Lauder cream I am currently using. But this is nice.
And then I have pretty much finished my No.7 pressed powder. It really shocked me when I hit pan on this, and it shocks me even more that I have hit this stage. I think because it is translucent, you don't see how much product you use. I really like this powder!
It doesn't look cakey on the skin and it also doesn't discolour your make up. The two main things I look for in a powder.
So finally I have finished two mascaras.
They are both Rimmel. Firstly the Extra Super Lash is the most affordable mascara I have ever used. I think it is like £4.99, which is pretty good. It is okay, and does the job of thickening and lengthening the lashes. But it's nothing to write home about. It's just okay.
The the Lash Accelerator, now this is something I really loved. It gives your lashes the most beautiful an fluttery length. Every time I picked this up out of my collection again I was seriously impressed at how long it made my lashes. It is amazing. However, I do like a bit of volume and that is the let down for it. But if you like long fluttery lashes, then you will love this!
Finally, the last product! I think this is my third tube of the Maybelline Fit Me concealer. I love it. It has really good coverage, and it is really creamy but not heavy. It is one of the only high coverage concealers I can find that doesn't crease under my eyes. I will most definitely be repurchasing.
Have you finished anything lately?
