Harrie is on a roll with these outfit posts right now! Honestly,I think it is because I have finally found people who are willing to take photos of me. These were taken by my bestie, so thanks for that Phil!
Anyway, this weekend I headed out with a bunch of my best friends. It is very rare that we all actually get together, because there are so many of us, therefore getting a date where we all can meet up is really hard. But we managed it (apart from one of us) and we went out for some Tapas at the Rake in Littleborough, Greater Manchester.
The dress code was semi-smart because we knew we would be going for a few drinks after the meal and also we knew that the restaurant was quite a nice place too. I opted for an all black outfit, because I was feeling a bit critical about myself and black is my go to colour when I want to play it safe. Black never fails.
I am wearing a really old light weight blazer from Primark, over a black camisole and then leather trousers. I kept it really, really simple and chose to make it look a little bit more special by adding accessories. Firstly, the main focus of this outfit for me was the shoes. They are a new purchase from Dorothy Perkins and I love them. They are basic black, barely there style shoes with a strap on the front and one round the ankle. Also, they are quite small in height so I can confirm that they are really comfortable and super easy to walk in.
Of course, I have my Olivia Burton watch on. This is the large dial design with a pale blue strap and I love it. I just think that it adds a little bit of colour to an outfit, whilst still looking really sophisticated and not too noticeable. It just helps make everything look really pulled together.
This is an old necklace from topshop and I think it worked really well with the whole black vibe to just make me look a little more dressed up and turn it into more of an occasion look. I love this necklace and I get so much wear out of it because it is so colourful but without looking tacky.
Finally, I finished the outfit off with a nude clutch bag which again is old topshop. But I just think it again, added a little bit of colour to the outfit.
